FAQ
What are Spotpack heat packs filled with?
All our heat packs are filled with 100% Australian lupin seeds. They’re virtually odourless when heated, don’t attract insects like wheat, and are safe for those with gluten sensitivities or coeliac disease.
Can I use my heat pack hot and cold?
Yes! Spotpack heat packs can be used both ways. Microwave for warm, soothing relief from aches and stiffness, or place in a sealed bag in the freezer for cooling relief from headaches, inflammation, or injury.
How do I heat my Spotpack safely?
Place your heat pack flat in the microwave and heat in 30-second intervals until warm (typically 1–3 minutes depending on size). Never overheat, and always test the temperature before applying to skin.
How long will my heat pack last?
We recommend replacing your Spotpack every 3 years. Over time, the contents can dry out and lose effectiveness—and in rare cases, pose a fire risk if overheated.
